Pumpkin Patchin

We had a very busy week filled with all things fall and Halloween. This time of year is so exciting, for young and old alike! ;)
We went to the pumpkin patch on Thursday (I think??) with our friends Angie and Hayden, and Britni, Rilan, and Zoey.
This pumpkin patch was so cool!!
When you first walked in, they had wood cutouts of all kinds of characters in this one area.

AVA WAS IN CHARACTER HEAVEN!!

Don't you love how she stood right on top of them to pose? Haha! Crazy girl.
She LOVED Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs the best of all!

Sidenote:I put her in the same smocked Halloween dress she wore last year.

Just a tad shorter, but still just as cute!

This is a funny one of Ava and I in the pumpkin head cutouts.

Next was the bouncehouses and the kids got worn out from bouncing and sliding!

And here is little Zoey hanging out being too cute for words...

If you can tell by Ava's littel red cheeks, it was super hot this day. The moms were DRAGGING by the end of it all. We went on a hay ride, ate some snacks, and chatted for a bit before we hit the road. All in all though, it was super fun... OH! And it was FREE! Didn't cost us a dime. I love "free field trips".
Thanks again for inviting us Angie! We had a great day.

  1. I can't remember what day we went either...ha! This time of year seems so hecktic and busy!

I love the picture of Ava running towards the camera on the bounce house! She looks so cute and excited.

I have to go back to the pumpkin patch in the morning with Hayden's school, and honestly I am 'patched' OUT! Sheesh!

  2. Looks like a great time. Was this the pumpkin patch in Flower Mound? I've heard they have a great one. We're new here and live in Colleyville and have done the Grapevine one but that's it so far.

After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
