I am hoping that you have enjoyed your Monday with no work/school and have spent some quality time with family and/or friends.
We had a great weekend and spent much of it outdoors, with family, or at the pool. I will be cranking it up again tonight, so technically I am working today.
Do you feel sorry for me?
I didn't think so! Haha!
No, I enjoy my work very much! So, I have no complaints.

This is precious Katie! She is wearing the summer spaghetti strap dress with a zebra applique initial. I just love this color on her beautiful skin tone!!

Kaite is cousins with Jilian (last week's model) and I totally meant to put her picture with Jilian's post, but this week works just as well!
And let's do two models just for giggles, shall we?
This is MY cousin's little babe and I made this very first applique name gown (of many)for him.


I wanted to make something for him that was practical yet cute (challenging for the boys-at least for me) and this has proven to be a winner.
I am excited as I get to meet little Claylon for the first time this weekend!!

Here's adorable miss Jilian wearing her "J" shirt I made for her on "accident". Ha!

We made an extra J shirt and I gave it to her because her momma is first off, super cool. And second, she is one of my most loyal customers and she is always sending me business left and right. It was the least I could do.

And here she is wearing our Bella dress, in the form of an A-Line jumper rather than the peasant style dress.


Is she not just precious with all that curly hair and dimple galore?!?! It kills me!

Does this adorable little cutie look familiar?? She is one of my most favorite models (I'm "long distance" friends with her mommy...so a little biased) whose been featured before.
This is little miss precious Ellie Jo.

And her birthday theme was "angel baby" since she was baptized and had her first birthday party on the same day. So I made her some little sparkly angel wings on the back of her "1" shirt.
Such a fun party theme. Such a darling little one year old!!

And I had to add a picture of her shoes her mommy made! Aren't they adorable?!?! Her mom is very talented. I begged her to move closer and join my team. But no such luck.

This is late, and I apologize.
My day was the craziest I've had in a good while.
I won't even bore you with the details, but it was just one thing after another.
So, here I am!
I mean here she is!
This is little Emerson wearing The Harper Dress.

She is such a little blonde doll!!


And did you know that her mom is Katy Perry? Ok, so really she is Katie Perry. Haha! But I really was stoked that there was a customer with the same name. And I may or may not just decide to tell others that "Katie Perry" is one of my customers. I'm telling the truth, right?

Model MONDAY!

It's nice to be back after a week off and I am excited about our lineup for the next month or so!
Let's kick off August with a little one year old sweetie, shall we??

She is wearing the Laila birthday set we sell in pants, only her mom wanted it as a skirt.

Kendal's older sister also got a matching skirt and shirt too! It was so much fun making these sister sets for Kendal's special day!

Happy stinkin hot Monday to you!!
It's the dog days of summer, y'all!
And I don't think I could be more thrilled about heading to the coast of Maine where it's a tad bit cooler.
My car read thermostat read 107 today. HOTT!
Everything is bigger in Texas, and that does include the temperature and the humidity. And my swollen fingers. And the sweat band on my undergarment. Wowzers!

I am going to do a double Model Monday since I will be on vacation next week. And then we will catch right back up the week after next.
In fact, this week we have models wearing the same dress!
It's the perfect dress for these hot summer days, as well.
Here is Miss Brooke. She is wearing the spaghetti strap ruffle dress with the yellow applique letter. Her mom told me this was her most favorite dress to wear...her "pink summer dress".

Isn't Brooke SUCH a cutie?!
She mentioned that she has worn it over and over again and with each wash it still looks brand new!

I'm not sure if Brooke or her mom realize it, but those two statements are pretty much the best compliments someone in this business can recieve!!! And I was more than thrilled to get them both!!! Thanks again to Brooke and her sweet mom!

Our next model might look familiar. This is Emersyn and she was featured as a model back in May, wearing her cupcake outfit we made for her birthday!

She is wearing the ruffle dress with a zebra applique. And aren't her zebra pigtail bows precious accessories? I'm loving it!! Emersyn is a repeat customer, and her mom is a lonnnng distant friend of mine. It's too bad she doesn't live closer because I would love to have this adorable girl as a regular model! Too precious!!

So, I notice that I always want to start my posts with "So".

And today is THE LAST DAY to order anything under the moon (that we can make, of course) and it will be shipped before July 21st.
You can still order whenever! It just won't get processed (AKA dealt with. handled. looked at. what have you.) until August 1st. At that time I will process all orders on a first come, first served basis.

Meet Faith!

Here is miss Faith modeling the birthday number set in pink and brown. Doesn't she look great modeling her SheShe Made birthday attire?



She is just a beautiful little girl!! I think I might have found an older model for SheShe TWEENS. Haha! Love that word. I may be in luck, too, because if I recall, Faith is a local texan too!
Faith's mom is super sweet, very complimentary, and she ordered about 3 other outfits with this set, so I am hoping she will send more pictures soon!

Please note that we can now make sizes up to 8! But we aren't really publicizing that just yet. If you would like an outfit in a size bigger than listed, just click the biggest size, and then put the size you need in a message in paypal. I check it allllll!

Meet Corrianne!

Isn't that a cute name? It fits this little cutie pefectly, too!

Corrianne's mom, Greta, asked me to make Corrianne a first birthday shirt and matching headband, and she said she didn't care what I did with it. I decided to go with lavendar and lime colors as I just love that color combo!

When Greta got the shirt and headband she emailed me to tell me she was so excited because the colors were so Corrianne and it fit her personality perfectly.
I know exactly what she means about an outfit/ensemble fitting a personality, so that was a HUGE compliment!
Getting an A+ on a custom order always puts a smile on my face!!

I'm getting better at posting on Monday, huh?!?!
Some of our absolute favorite pieces to make are the ones for birthdays and special celebrations.
I get a little excited when I get an email in my inbox asking to help create a custom birthday outfit. Sometimes it's just that mom has a theme/colors all picked out and she wants me to use my imagination and come up with something cute. Other times mom has it all planned out in her head and just wants to know if I can do it and find cute fabric to create her idea. Just lately, I have had a few moms email me telling me they were planning their daughters' birthdays around an outfit we already have. That's fun too!
Almost always I post the newest birthday creation on my website so that others can see the possibilities, or perhaps purchase it as is. This is one custom birthday dress that we sell a ton of!

And that little cutie is miss Hannah. She turned the big 1 a few months ago and her mom sent the sweetest email to me after receiving her SheShe Made dress.
"Hi Ashley. I just received Hannah's first year jumper. You did a FABULOUS job! Thank you so much. I have passed your name on to a few friends. I don't do that very often. Once again, thank you SO much!" -Cindy
There is nothing more rewarding to this job than the sweet emails from happy customers. NOTHING!

We are off to swim lessons round two. The swim instructor suggested that I bring Ava back and put her in the 3-4 yr class. I am a little nervous that my 2 yr old will be unruly and stand out among the 3-4 yr olds. I mean, I cannot see her sitting still on the ledge and listening to directions. AT ALL!!!! I'll let ya know!

This is Abby and we made her shabby chic zebra applique shirt, bow, and flip flops to match her birthday colors/theme.

This week's model for Model Monday is little miss Savannah.
Her mom found me and emailed, asking if I could make these two dresses as she knew nobody in her area that could make dresses for little girls. She wanted the pillowcase style, so that's what we whipped up for her.

Isn't this sweet of her sleeping beauty?? Love it!
