My first Vlog

WARNING: DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO WHILE OPERATING HEAVY MACHINERY. IT WILL PUT YOU TO SLEEP.

I'm linking up to my twitter friend Kodi's blog and answering three questions. This is so embarrassing and I can't believe I actually decided to join in, but I got peer pressured into it is all I can say.

And check out this awesome freeze frame of me......GIRL! Close your mouth already.

Aaron watched it and said I should have said the one thing I want to change about myself is to stop overusing the word "um". My bad!
Happy Friday!

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!!

First off: Here is a peak at Ava's first birthday party. It was a cupcake themed party and it was absolutely perfect! We had such a great time and I will never forget that special day spent celebrating our baby girl's first birthday.

In the background is a cupcake bar where the kids could decorate their own cucpake and take it home (we had cake at the party and the cupcakes were the party favors).
Here is the giant cupcale I made as Ava's smash cake.

And here is her 2nd party. It was a farm animal theme as she was obsessed with farm animals at that age. She still is!
This year (next month) for her 3rd birthday we are having a Wizard of Oz theme. I am so excited to show the outfit we made for her!! If you have had a Wizard of Oz party I'd love to hear what details you added to it. I'm very excited about this one as it's such a fun theme and Ava is crazy about this movie!

Now, I can't leave off my passion when it comes to birthday parties these days...
The greatest joy in our job is seeing the photos (or seeing the kids in real life is even better!) of sweet kids wearing SheShe Made. Especially when they are wearing something custom made for their birthday.
I love working with moms on coordinating the perfect outfit to match the well planned party. I mean the outfit is one VERY BIG detail of that birthday is it not?!
Here are a few of the recent birthday outfits we have made...

The incredible memory of a 2 year old

Ava loves her Yo Gabba Gabba. Each morning she watches one episode while I cook her breakfast.
We ask her which one she wants to watch and will read her the options from top to bottom as she picks. Well, now she likes to chime in and "read along".

YouTube Video

Is that not hilarious?!?!

Another fun thing we've been doing is identifying numbers with the weather forecast temps. She loves this game! She points to the number I call out with her wand.

And you see that tinkerbell dress? It's worn every second that kid is awake. Ugh!! She asks for it first thing in the morning when I go in to get her out if bed. She asks for it just as soon as nap time is up. And she cries at bedtime when we hang it up. My goodness the princess stage has hit HARD in this house!!

Ft. Worth, Texas
After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
