It's a BOY!!!!

I am still in shock.
Our family dynamics have changed today.
And we could NOT be more thrilled to share that we will be parents of a bouncing baby BOY!!!

He was a bit shy, but looked oh so sweet! I am so in love with him my heart could burst.
And his name....

Most people expected his name to start with an A. Well we really weren't crazy about any names that began with A for boys, so we decided to go with Judd; our very first boy pick when we were pregnant with Ava. I was stuck on the fact that he would be outnumbered in the A initial department, so here is what we "shook" on back in February...
If it is a girl, we are naming her Anniston Lake and we will have no more.
If it is a boy, we are naming him Judd Richard and we will have ONE more and name that child a name beginning with something other than an A so Judd isn't left out.
Sounds so silly, but I really want 3 kids so it works out perfectly. And Aaron is not the kind of man who just HAD to have a boy so he was happy with that plan.

So THAT, my friends, is how we came up with his name. Nothing fancy. Just a name we both love. I don't even know what it means yet. I should look it up, huh?

His middle name is from his grandfather, Aaron's daddy. His first name is Richard. Ava has my mom's middle name and Judd will have have Aaron's dad's name. We are so thankful for our parents and it is the least we can do to honor them and continue to carry their names.

As for little miss Ava...she is THRILLED! All along she has said I was having a girl but that she really wants a "bruvver". So when we showed her the baby on the big screen and told her it was her brother she said "Ahhhh so cute little boy."
She is going to be the BEST big sister to a little boy.

And as far as SheShe Made boy's line is going.....you can expect to see LOTS of baby boy gowns, JonJon's, and matching brother/sister sets in the future. My head AND heart are exploding with the ideas!

Model MONDAY!

A baby in bloomers and bows.

Can it really get any more precious?!?

This is sweet, sweet Avery. She is my best friend's daughter and I am simply in love with her. She wears SheShe Made bows and clothing well.
And it also doesn't hurt that she is A.DOR.A.BLE.

A few more new items

I wanted to show you all a few other things I have been working on. These are among some of my favorites. Ha! Is that even necessary to say? It's all my favorite!
Except Elmo.
I'm tired of that monster.
JUST KIDDING! I love to give Elmo smack.
The first two pictures are of things we made for two of my favorite blog readers! So I am excited to share.
Here is the skirt version of the swirl pants I did a few weeks ago. I am so please with how it came out!!

This was made for a sweet, sweet blog reader's daughter and she got the pants as well, for her younger daughter. We enjoyed making these for you, Kelly!

This bandana pillowcase dress turned out super cute for little miss Jilian. I had two friends stop by this weekend and they both had a fit over it. I guess that's a good sign!

Jessica, if you are reading, I know we talked about doing it on the bandana part of the dress, but I had a wild hair and just knew it would stand out more and look so much better down on the cow print. Hope you agree!

Last, is a baby shower gift set I made for a local customer. Audrie's nursery is done in pink and brown and so I picked out these fabrics to go with the color scheme.

I think I want to call this set "Neopolitan". We're going to offer all items for sale on the website, sold separately, since towels are going to soon be offered only for local customers.

We had a fun weekend full of egg hunts and sunshine. I will blog about that tomorrow!

My photo
Ft. Worth, Texas
After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
