Spring Break Recap

This past week was Aaron and Ava's Spring Break. We didn't go out of town or do anything too exciting.
But we enjoyed working on house projects and playing with our toys

booking summer vacations and swimming at the gym

playing dress up every single moment we weren't leaving the house

working on orders

mostly, we enjoyed lots of snuggles and kisses!

Aaron said this Spring Break was anything but a "break" and he has a little more appreciation for me. Being home with the kids all day long is sometimes no easy feat. It's feeding, napping, changing diapers, playing dress up, going to parks, wiping faces, changing spit up clothes, and much more.
Just look at the evidence...

I think we are all ready to get back to the grind. Ava misses school and her friends, Aaron misses sitting at his desk in peace (ha!) and I miss having the house to myself while Judd naps. Just kidding! Sort of.

How was your Spring Break?

  1. the dress up pics are my favorite. ava's makeup reminds me of cheri oteri's as that crazy pill popping aunt on SNL. haha. and sweet judd. it takes a real man to wear a headband.
and i completely 100% agree. when jeffrey is home on breaks, it's anything but a "break"...for all of us! i like having the house to myself during naptime, too. kidding. sort of. not really. :)

  2. This almost sums up my week, but the husband wasn't home. Love the pics of your sweet kiddos! Mine are about the same age I think-5 year old daughter and my baby boy turned 5 months old today. The orders you've been working on are darling!

After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
