One year ago today

What a difference a year makes!
One year ago we had been trying for 20 months to get pregnant. I was on my third round of Clomid and was going in for sonograms monthly to determine if I was making adequate sized eggs. On Feb 8th I went in and had the best looking egg yet. Funny that I took a picture of the sono image they gave me that reads "good luck" from the sweetest sonographer.

Weird to think that's half of Judd prior to conception, huh?!

I was beyond thrilled and actually in disbelief to read this single word printed out on that infamous little stick.

After I did a little happy dance and texted a few of my closest friends who had been praying for this day to come, I hopped into my sewing room and put together a "big sister" shirt for miss Ava.

We then drove to dad's school to share the news! Here Ava is sitting in the parking lot of the school admin building waiting for him to get out of a meeting.
What a happy day that was!
Fast forward a year later and we have our precious, most adorable little chunk of a 3 month old!!

He has made this once family of three SO JOYOUS as a family of four! We love him and cannot imagine our home without him.
What a glorious day! What a special gift from above!

He grants your heart's desire and fulfills all of your plans.
Psalm 20:4

  2. I had no clue that you struggled to conceive. Did you use Clomid with Ava too? Im nosey, sorry :) I used for a couple months when trying for K, and then stopped bc I had wicked side affects and then got pregnant the month after. I am debating getting back on because it has been some time now since we have been trying.
Judd is just the most precious little boy, and he is so adorable!! Such a perfect addition to your beautiful family!

After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
