More!
Not much to blog about other than showing some more new things I've done for customers lately.
Girl version of the giraffe minky lovey. The satin is hot pink rather than orange for the boy version.
Another fun little number. Hehe. I made a funny.
I love the way this pillowcase dress turned out! A customer sent me this fabric along with the fabric below and asked us to make her 2 pillowcase dresses because she couldn't find anybody in her home town to make one. We were happy to do so!
We will offer this minky dress in the winter!
Sassy little baby gown. Have I already told you all how SOFT this gown is??? Well, in case I haven't...It is sooo soft!
Sassy little shower gift set. Fun, fun!
Have you checked out the website lately? Many new items have been added, and these you see today will be added within the week. The lady that does my website had to take some items down because it was filled out to the max. This means I am going to have to get someone to build me my own website rather than continue with using Siteskins. YIKES! I don't know where to begin.

Model MONDAY!
I've been excited to show off these little darlings!!
Cameron, the oldest, turned 2 and had a fifties themed party. On the same day Ellie, the youngest, turned 3/4 of a year!
IS THAT NOT ADORABLE???
Cameron's mom wanted a shirt and bow to match her pettiskirt. And she made those shoes herself!
Happy 2nd birhtday to Cameron.
She also wanted a matching outfit for Ellie and I found this skirt at Target and just added a poodle to it.
Happy 3/4 birthday to Ellie.

Just a few new things...
So, I wish I had a bunch to show you, but I don't.
At least not just yet.
I have about 4 other items I'm wanting to add, so my goal is to get those done and photographed and at least up here to show you on the blog by May 1st.
Here is what I have for you to see today!
The first is a lined seersucker dress with a double ruffle. You may have seen in over on WeareTHATfamily blog for the giveaway.
I am just crazy about this dress and the cute turtle applique. I really wanted to add a bow to the Turtle's head and just completely got excited when I saw the finished product that it slipped my mind. Darn!!
And doesn't this just scream SUMMER???
I particularly like this A-Line dress because it is different than the typical gingham/monogram/seersucker A-Line dresses that you see out there. And the colors on it are just so vibrant! Ava is getting this one FOR SURE!!
And here is the Elmo Outfit's protege...
A mom asked me to make this for her older daughter (as in 5 year old older, in case you were wondering just how old). She will be wearing this, while the younger daughter will be sporting the Elmo outfit on her birthday.
And this, my friends, just makes me smile from ear to ear.
I made this for one of my local customers that tells me the name, the color preference, the occasion, and to use my imagination. I don't know about you, but we kept Ava in baby gowns 24/7 when she was a newborn. They were just so easy, comfortable, and warm. But they weren't always cute or sassy. So, with this saying Ava, and being so tiny and adorable, you can bet the baby fever spiked at an all time high as this project came to fruititon. Ahhhhh! I can't WAIT to make more of these.
My next gown I envision having a houndstooth bottom with hot pink ribbon!!
And last, is something we will be adding slowing but surely....monogrammed diaper and outing bags. This one is an outing bag.
It has pockets all around the outside and is perfect for Ava's age right now. I don't need a bulky diaper bag, but just a smaller bag that can hold a few diapers, some wipes, one change of clothes, and a sippy cup and crackers!
Oh! And I love that the straps are just long enough to put on my shoulder OR to put on a stroller without it dragging too far down. And the pockets are perfect for my keys to not get lost into oblivion like with my purse!
One of my seamstresses is making these and she's also made a brown and sky blue polkadot and stripes boy one that's ADORABLE!
Alright, that's all I have at the moment.
Hope you liked!!

Model MONDAY!
Customers can make or break a business, we all know this to be true.
And customers can be a real pain in the tooshy sometimes.
But that is rare for me. Oh it happens, don't get me wrong.
You know the ones...
Those that want you to try out every font before they can make up their mind.
Those that don't like THAT color pink thread.
Those that tell me the "a" is off center when it is exactly centered as it should be. But like I said, those customers are rare.
My customers MAKE my business and it's what I love.
And I just love this week's Model Monday customer mommy! She is always so sweet and easy to work with. And she always sends the sweetest emails about the compliments she gets on her SheShe Made clothing.
I made her daugher's princess birthday outfit and she sent me an email telling me how her 3 year old threw a huge tantrum because she didn't want to take the outfit off. Now THAT kind of story makes me smile from ear to ear!
And here she is....Meet Grace and her little brother, Dean...
An extra cute pic of little Dean in his initial applique tee.
Thanks again for sharing your pics with us, Jaclyn!!

Ava's Birthday Party
What a fun, fun day we had yesterday. It was officially Ava's birthdy yesterday, and we also had her party.
The plan was to have her farm party at the neighborhood park, along with the petting zoo and pony rides.I said last year that I would no longer have any parties at our house because it was too small.
I also thought there would never be a chance we would have to have another party at this smaller(er) house because I just knew our house would sell by now.
Well, never say never.
It hasn't rained all month.
BUT it has rained EVERY year on April 17th.
NOW I KNOW! NO MORE OUTDOOR PARTIES.
So, at 9am yesterday morning Aaron and I tapped knuckles, got a plan together, and busted. our. bootays.
We cleaned, cleaned, cleaned our house. We texted everyone to let them know the party had moved to our house.
And then we went in to get Ava out of bed. We sang to her and here she was with her hands in clapping position waiting for us to finish so she could say "yayyyyy!"
We let Ava open her Easel present. Thanks to Greta for the fabulous find!
I scurried around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to decorate with what little decor I had, since I had planned on having it under a park pavillion and just decorating the picnic tables.
Here are the cupcakes Sheila and I made.
We were going to make the barn cake, but we got too busy with orders and with Ava being sick early last week I just decided to do those few cupcakes and I ordered her this cake. It matched her invitations.
Once again, I ordered something from Etsy that NEVER CAME. It was a birthday banner from this shop. Apparently she has gone off the radar and it just sickens me to no end to know people actually take others' money and don't even deliver the goods people pay for. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED??? Ok, not going on a downer, so I will drop it.
Anyway, the banner would have hung from this table of party favors.
Getting the birthday girl all ready for her party guests.
Here she is greeting one of her friends.
So, we had the petting zoo in our GARAGE! Hahaha!
It only rained towards the very end of the party (after raining all morning HARD), but it was still a great call.
Ava was so stoked when she walked outside and saw the animals in her garage. She was walking up to all of them, repeatedly saying, in the highest pitch EVER, "Hiiiii goat. Hiiiiii chicken. Hiiiii rooster. Hiiiiii bunny. Hiiiiiii duck." And this went on for about 15 minutes.
The kids loved the pony rides too!
Ever seen a pony give rides on a city residential street? HA!!!!
We then came in for cake and presents.
Oh man this girl!! You would think she got sung to everyday the way she ate that attention UP! She was smiling and tilting her head like nobody's business. And she was eyeing EVERY PERSON in the room to make sure they were all singing. It was great stuff!
Opening presents...
Dressing up with some of her new birthday gifts.
And this was her at exactly 6:09pm, when she officially turned 2 years old.
And by 7:00, she turned into a pumpkin.
What a wonderful day. Ava is so very loved and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Rain or shine!

2 years
I cannot believe it is even possible
That two years ago I welcomed, with a love that is indescribable,
the apple of my eye
the sunshine of my life
the joy of my heart
the greatest gift of all
and I am so very honored to be your mommy. So very proud to call you my girl.
I love you more than life itself, Ava Joyce.
Happy 2nd Birthday!
