Ever Evolving Elmo

Elmo gets around, folks.

I mean this little red dude is seriously racking up some one on one time with me.

And it amazes me the range in sizes that I make for Elmo lovers. Everything from 12 months to 6. Really?
I wish I had taken ALL the pics of the different Elmo versions I have done, but here are a few!

I've also done Elmo on a blue shirt for a boy, a pink shirt for a girl, and with pink polka dot ruffles rather than orange.

Fun times for an Elmo hater such as myself. Oh I'm just kidding. I love Elmo. But not NEARLY as much as I love Yo Gabba Gabba! ;)

Model MONDAY!

Here's adorable miss Jilian wearing her "J" shirt I made for her on "accident". Ha!

We made an extra J shirt and I gave it to her because her momma is first off, super cool. And second, she is one of my most loyal customers and she is always sending me business left and right. It was the least I could do.

And here she is wearing our Bella dress, in the form of an A-Line jumper rather than the peasant style dress.

Is she not just precious with all that curly hair and dimple galore?!?! It kills me!

Just as Jilian's momma did, you can also choose to have any of our fabrics made into a different style than what you see on our website. Just shoot me an email and we are happy to meet the desires of your heart! :)

Happy Monday y'all!

Model MONDAY!

Meet Corrianne!

Isn't that a cute name? It fits this little cutie pefectly, too!

Corrianne's mom, Greta, asked me to make Corrianne a first birthday shirt and matching headband, and she said she didn't care what I did with it. I decided to go with lavendar and lime colors as I just love that color combo!

When Greta got the shirt and headband she emailed me to tell me she was so excited because the colors were so Corrianne and it fit her personality perfectly.
I know exactly what she means about an outfit/ensemble fitting a personality, so that was a HUGE compliment!
Getting an A+ on a custom order always puts a smile on my face!!

Where did we go???

Here are just a few of the reasons I have been a bad blogger lately...

We are almost sold out of the June special spaghetti strap dress! Only 2 more sizes of 2 left, and 4 more of the size 4 left.

Also, I am thinking about taking a break for the month of July. I hope Sheila is in on this plan, as I have yet to talk it over with her. But I have a feeling she will be, as she is a mom to FIVE kids and it's summer vacation and I can just imagine her house and family need her a tad more than usual. Ha! Family comes first and this is why we chose this journey to endeavor, and although the site will remain open, we will close down etsy and not take any custom orders during the month. So, if you are looking for a custom made birthday outfit, and need it during July or beginning of August, I'd get your order in soon.
At the moment, our turnaround time has gone from 1-2 weeks to 3-4 weeks. We are so beyond blessed for the business and hope our customers understand that production time is just a taking a little longer than it used to.
We have both worked super hard this week, in between taking our babies to swim lessons. Pictures of that to come soon.
Until then, I have a 10 year reunion tomorrow night that I have to go prepare for. Eeeek! Reunions stress me out because in my mind I feel like people only go to these things to see who got fat and ugly. I mean, come on? Am I wrong? At least I am only about 10 pounds heavier than high school.

Surely my tan will hide those 10 pounds.
After all, my motto in life is "If you can't lose it, tan it."

I got my first spray tan, and I am still trying to decide if I look sunkissed or Jackolantern ambushed. It's a toss up. I'll let you all decide...

I woke Aaron up from a nap to take this picture and it is such a bad angle and I look 5 months pregnant but oh well. I didn't want to make him take another since he was sleeping, afterall. He barely even got my legs to give you the full picture.

Hope you are doing well! Enjoy your weekend and yes, I will be adding all of these pictured items to the website SOON SOON SOON!

What do you think?

Should I put a name underneath or leave it as is??? Or put an initial inside the seahorse belly?

I made this for Ava tonight after getting totally bummed about her Easter bucket never coming. I ordered it from a shop on Etsy back at the beginning of March and it was guaranteed before Easter delivery. Well, I got a surprise email tonight stating the seller was in over her head and would not be sending out anymore orders. And she told me on Wednesday mine was ready and would be mailed out Thursday. Anyway, so when I get stressed or upset, I like to work on new projects. It's a great release for me! I also feel really bad that Ava won't have that to put all her goodies in. Like should I give her all her goodies in a target sack? Ha!
I should realize it's not that important, but I am a little sentimental about stuff like that. And because I am soooo anal and send out orders super fast. I just can't see how someone can do that and sleep at night. Ever again!
Ok, off my venting. Thanks for reading!
And thanks for suggestions. I am leaning towards leaving it as is...

P.S. This was a booger and a half to do!!!

My photo
Ft. Worth, Texas
After having my girly girl in April of 08, and spending oodles of money on one of a kind boutique, monogrammed clothing (with hairbows to match), I decided it was time to learn this trade myself before I went broke! I learned how to sew, embroider, and make hairbows in a matter of 3 months. What started as a hobby has turned into a dream come true. I quit my job as a teacher and now work from home when the little one sleeps. My life as a mommy and a boutique clothing designer/manufacturer/monogrammer is truly the best of both worlds!! I have big dreams for the future of my family and the future of SheShe Made. Thanks for joining me as I blog about the journey. Let me know if there is a bow or outfit you'd like custom made for you! Email me at sheshebows@yahoo.com and thanks for stopping by!
